  • 2012: The Year of Jubilee
    We are so excited about what God is doing with and around us.  Our next Jubilee Services will be September 16 and December 16 . The morning will be filled with praise music, testimonies, Holy Communion, and hymns.  Between 9 am & noon, plan to come and go as you feel led—listen to people just like you share how God has changed their lives, receive communion at 9:45 or 10:45 a.m. and hear a message during the middle hour. Come for one hour or stay for all three as we praise and worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • Manna is a daily devotional and common scripture reading plan, written by members of Providence of all ages.  Its intent is to help us connect with God on a daily basis through regular scripture reading and to connect with each other through the writing and comments of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • Jubilee Community Garden
    The Jubilee Community Garden is open! Soil has been amended & an electric fence is installed. Our Student Ministry is growing food to be given to those in need through Fayette Samaritans and the Real Life Center. Limited number of plots available for $10 registration fee/$90 for the year which includes water. Reserve your 10’ x 10’ plot now!

Youth at Real Life Center

 

A group of students and adults went to help the Real Life Center in Tyrone, GA prepare their warehouse for one of their largest food drives of the year.  Each year in May, the United States Postal Service drops bags and flyers in the mailboxes of all Peachtree City residents.  People leave food donations at their mailbox to be picked up by their postal worker and taken to the  Real Life Center for distribution.  Real Life Center is supported by Providence's Missions Committee and through regular service projects and food drives by student and children's ministries.  For more information on the Real Life Center, visit www.reallifecenter.org. 

Mission Trip Donations Needed

Our mission team goes to Barahona in the Dominican Republic June 2-9 to share the love of Christ with Dominicans and Haitian refugees.  Items they need: baseball bats/gloves/balls; all sizes new or gently used sandals & shoes, all sizes summer weight clothing for children, adults & teens with a special request for white shorts. Please put donations in the box at the back door of the main building or in the box in the children’s building. Thank you!

Middle High Girls’ Choir
In Greek, "Arete" means excellence, fulfillment of purpose & living up to your full potential. Our goal is to bring young teens of all denominations together for Blessing, Praise, God, Empowerment & Purpose. Mentor-in-Residence will be Nashville based Christian recording artist, Mandy Thomas.
 
Does your young teen in Coweta or Fayette County have a passion for song? We are starting a multi-denominational middle high girls’ choir in the fall.
